WA Insurance is operated by Washington Insurance Brokers LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”), an independent insurance brokerage in Auburn, Washington. This policy explains what information we collect through wa-insurance.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what choices you have.

Information you give us

We collect information you enter yourself. That includes:

• Contact and quote request details submitted through forms on this site — typically name, email address, phone number, ZIP code, and whatever you tell us about your situation.
• Information entered into our instant quoting tool, which may include date of birth, sex, tobacco use, height and weight, general health questions, coverage amount and state of residence. This is the information carriers require to return a premium estimate.
• Appointment details if you schedule a consultation, including the name, email address and any notes you provide.
• Anything you send us directly by email, phone or text.

If you go on to apply for coverage, the carrier will collect additional information directly from you under its own privacy policy, which may include medical, prescription, driving and financial history.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, this site records technical information when you visit: IP address, browser and device type, referring page, pages viewed, and time spent. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies.

Who we share it with

We share your information only as needed to do the work you asked for, or where the law requires it:

• Insurance carriers and their underwriters, to obtain quotes and submit applications. Each carrier handles your information under its own privacy policy.
• Service providers that operate this site, listed in the next section.
• Regulators, or others where required by law, including the Washington Office of the Insurance Commissioner.

We do not sell or rent personal information for monetary compensation. We disclose information to insurance carriers, service providers and other parties only as described in this policy. We do not knowingly disclose information from insurance quote requests or applications to unrelated companies for their independent marketing.

• Microsoft 365 and Outlook — business email and communications.

Cookies and your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; parts of the site may not work correctly if you do. You can opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, and you can manage personalized advertising at Google My Ad Center.

Requests about your information

Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you, provide access to it, correct it, or delete it, and you may withdraw consent we previously relied on. Information we are required to retain under insurance recordkeeping rules may not be deletable on request. If that applies to your request, we will tell you.

How we protect information

We use commercially reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we hold, including encrypted connections to this website. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Marketing communications

If you give us your phone number or email address, we may contact you about the coverage you asked about. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to a text, using the unsubscribe link in an email, or telling us directly. Standard message and data rates may apply.

This site links to carrier websites, government resources and other third parties. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
